We’ve made it to the little town south of the village where Teddy lives. It’s his last night there without a family forever. I wonder if he is as excited as we are!!
The drive over from
was long, but beautiful. We were amazed this time by hundreds and hundreds of acres of sunflowers. Sofia
The vineyards and fruit orchards are full of fruit. The people are picking some of the fruit from the trees, and there are lots of little roadside stands selling peaches and vegetables from local gardens. The grapes aren’t ready yet, but the arbors in everyone’s yards and fields are loaded.
Toni is doing OK…. Not great, but she’s mostly tired, I think. Of course, she could be in a good bit of pain, and just not be telling us! We had a nice supper by the sea with a gorgeous view!
It’s so very exciting to think that right now, it’s no longer a matter of DAYS before we get Teddy…. Now it’s just a matter of hours!!! We have to be up at 5:30 am and leave here about an hour after that. So, by around 11:00 pm central time in
, we’ll have our boy!!! J America
